Over 240 runners participated inTenby 10K 2010,
which took place on Sunday July
25th. The new route proved to be a great success, with many onlookers welcoming the runners home and creating a great atmopshere in Tudor Square.
Thanks go to race organiser Ann Rowell and her team, Coastal Cottages, the Fourcroft Hotel, Tescos, Holland and Barrett, harbourmaster Matthew Broadhurst, The Qube, Tenby Leisure Centre, the local police, St John's ambulance, and all the marshalls.

Prizes were presented in the following categories.
Open Female and Open Male
Veteran Female F35 (35-44) and F45 (45+)
Veteran Male M40 (40-49) and M50 (50+)
Male club team and Female club team
First Business team
The first male and female runners were also presented with weekend breaks courtesy of the Fourcroft Hotel Tenby, offering luxury accomodatioin in the heart of Tenby with stunning views over the harbour and Carmarthen bay.

The 10K is all on road around the beautiful
coastal resort of Tenby. The new 2010 route starts and finishes in the centre of town, looping around the edge of the town
and passing through Penally village.
The run this year starts at The Croft, Tenby and proceeds as follows (map to follow shortly):
Start in the Croft and turn right into Narberth Road
Continue up Narberth Road to junction
Cross road (following directions from police and marshalls), proceed over pedestrian railway bridge and turn right into Serpentine Road
Turn left down Heyward Lane and turn right to The Green
Proceed along Marsh Road (past Greenhill School, the Leisure Centre, Kiln Park, the Golf Course) to the end of Penally
Return through Penally Village
Proceed back along Marsh Road to The Green
Turn right up Greenhill Road
Turn left into White Lion Street, then right down the High Street to finish in Tudor Square.
Important note: Marshalls will be present at all key stages
of the routes. Runners should take note that roads on the route are not closed, and all runners should be aware of traffic and follow the instructions of marshalls and police at all times.
