Tenby 10K 2009,
generously
sponsored for a third year byCoastal
Cottages of Pembrokeshire, took place on Sunday July
26th at 11.00 am. Over 200 runners took part in the race
which is organised by the TROT running club, St Clears,
with support on the day from Tenby
Leisure Centre.
Despite the bad weather, the race went smoothly and we would
like to thank the 30 plus marshalls and other volunteers
who gave up several hours of their their time to set out
the course, stand in the rain, hand out water and generally
assist the runners.
First man home was Matthew Chaston, Belgrave Harriers,
in 33:40, and Ann Thomas, TROTs, was the winning lady
in 39:28. TROTs won both the men's and ladies team events.
